A winter holiday at Haus Wasserbauer ….

…… offers a paradise for skiers, snowboarders and cross-country skiers alike. With un-crowded slopes and numerous mountain huts and restaurants to choose from, the Hochkönig is a world away from modern, soulless purpose-built resorts you find in other parts of the Alps.

When you stay with Haus Wasserbauer you will find a traditional Alpine village, offering warm Austrian hospitality and amazing skiing.

“off the British ski map, this Austrian region is a landscape of villages, forests, farms – and long steady pistes”

The Sunday Times : `Yes, you can afford to ski´

With a ski area totalling in excess of 120km, a linked modern lift system connecting the villages of Mühlbach, Dienten, Hintertal and Maria Alm, one of the most established fun parks in Austria (the Blue Tomato Kings Park Hochkönig!) and slopes to serve everyone from the most experienced through to those making their first tentative turns, the Hochkönig Winterreich in Salzburgerland offers you a unique, family-friendly ski area with an enviable snow record.

Blue Tomato Kings Park

The Blue Tomarto Kings Park in the Hochkönig offers everyone a chance to practice their 180°s. Located at 1,800m and accessed via the Kings Cab gondola, the Blue Tomato Kings Park is divided up into 3 areas with jibs, jumps and much more.
