Take the A10 Autobahn then follow the signs to Bischofshofen (B311). Before you reach the town centre you will pass signs welcoming you to the Hochkönig Region. Then follow signs for Mühlbach am Hochkönig (the road is a classic mountain pass with many switchbacks so care is needed in winter). After 10/15 (minutes ) approx. 9.7km from Bischofshofen you will enter the village. Once you have entered the village , take the small road on the right hand side approximately 50m before Café Bauer and next to Sport Hochkönig (a ski hire shop in winter).
Haus Wasserbauer is located on the right hand side of this road after 150m (you will see a sign with the Haus logo on). Ample parking is available to the left hand side of the Haus by a stone wall.
Take the Loferer Road (B179), followed by the Hochkönig (B164) direction Saalfelden and Maria Alm. Then head in the direction of Dienten to Mühlbach. In winter you will need to check road conditions before you travel. You will enter the village by the bottom station for the telecabine. Stay on this road, until you see the Spar supermarket on your right hand side. 100m on the left (by Sport Hochkönig) is the road to Haus Wasserbauer.
